PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This dual tower development in downtown San Diego, operated by a Home Owner’s Association and management company hired McCullough after receiving a large settlement for original construction defects. The opportunity included the overall property, the street scene, street plaza, a promenade that bisected the building vertically, a pool area, fire feature communal space, and a newly proposed exterior kitchen area. As long-term ownership, the HOA’s goals were to spend their reserve well on materials that would last the test of time. McCullough, worked closely with the general contractor, landscape, electrical, waterproofing, and MEP contractors to ensure that all items were the products carefully execution and that no corners were cut. McCullough’s roll started early (after the lawsuit), working with an HOA sub-committee and later worked towards community approval. Then into detailed working drawings and through a rigorous construction process where attention detail was critical
