PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

An urban infill development in an under-served neighborhood in La Mesa. The target market is the youthful first time home buyer that recognizes the value of having an ecologically small footprint. The homes are designed to be small and compact with front porches that truly engage the street scene. The landscape architecture was designed to complement the larger community concept of “Americana”. Quaint, small footprint, front porches, picket fences, DG pathways, and native/perennial gardens, all built by the developer for the buyer. Included in the community are two small parklets and a citrus orchard, both designed in a way to encourage residents to get outside and “play”. Open turf areas that double as bio-retention areas, a park like BBQ, old school picnic tables are all part of the concept.
