ADAM CROWELL, ASLA
Associate
Just like the plants he loves to use in his designs, Adam is a California native who thrives in the sunny and temperate climate of San Diego. Drawn to landscape architecture through his love of our planet and the built environment, he aims to create spaces that leave a positive impact on both people and the local ecosystem. His creativity and expertise elevate projects, transforming under-utilized sites into thoughtful landscapes that leave an impact on the user and surrounding community. The challenges of today's landscapes are great, but Adam strives to be greater. His current mantra is "designing a better tomorrow, today."
Adam is proactive, a strong communicator, and a fine designer. His fellow colleagues would say he's exceptionally talented at understanding the big picture of a project, while balancing the fine details that can really elevate a project. Adam is admired by other professionals in the industry, who recognize him for excelling at his role while also managing projects with a casual and friendly demeanor. He truly puts his heart into his projects, and gives full attention to the people he works with.
When he's outside the office, you might find Adam strolling around Balboa Park or the Zoo, checking out the newest restaurant in town with friends, or befriending neighborhood street cats. Adam is a cat dad himself to a hyper but loveable cat named Leo, who never fails to keep Adam on his toes. Committed to a sustainable lifestyle, Adam tries to bike to work often and avoids using his car when possible, which is easy to do in sunny San Diego.
