Growing up in the San Francisco Bay area, Kira was profoundly influenced by the natural beauty that surrounded her. From sleeping amongst the ancient redwoods while camping in Big Basin to searching for sea creatures while kayaking off Stinson Beach, these experiences instilled in her a deep appreciation for the transformative power of landscapes.

These encounters with nature were more than just childhood memories; they were the seeds of a lifelong passion. With time, Kira's path led her to pursue a degree in landscape architecture at UCLA extension, where she gained a strong foundation in the field. Since then, she has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, spanning residential, commercial, and multi-family housing. Her passion lies in crafting innovative solutions that cater to the unique needs of each project and weave the rich history and character into the heart of the design.

Kira joined McCullough in September of 2023, as McCullough’s first Los Angeles based associate and will oversee project design, documentation, and implementation and support our business development efforts for the Los Angeles region.

Beyond her professional life, Kira finds solace and inspiration in creative pursuits. Whether it's knitting hats, drawing caricatures of friends, or experimenting with ceramics, she is perpetually on the lookout for new outlets to express herself and learn new skills. Currently, she’s exploring the world of woodworking and has a dream of designing and building custom furniture for her apartment and beyond.
