PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This full block, non-standard block, new development in a community originally planned and built out by the English, pre 20th century, was planned to become a four level (over underground parking) Chinese social club in the heart this “English” district. For this reason, the new architecture and site had to be fashioned consistent with the neighborhood context in a pre-Victorian English style. McCullough worked closely with the San Diego architecture firm, Delawie, interior designer Michael Soriano, and the development team to vision what this development might look like as planned now in the 21st century.
