PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Red Door Interactive, an independent digital marketing firm, originally located in downtown San Diego purchased a property for their headquarters in the Sherman Heights neighborhood of San Diego. Red Door Interactive engaged McCullough and local architecture firm AVRP Studios to assist in the development of a property just on the outskirts of downtown that would not would tie into the local ethos of the neighborhood but would also represent a firm committed to their neighbors. McCullough worked closely with the team to work towards a site that accomplished the goals of contextual integration and community social empathy that led to an advancement of the neighborhood without gentrification that tends to exclude some.
